This Saturday was the Allen ISD Art Show and I entered one of my pieces in. I put my earrings "Ruby Leaves' into the show and ended up winning Third Place in Division 3! I loved the way they turned out and I was glad the judges thought so too. I had put a lot of effort and after school hours into making this piece so seeing it appreciated by the art community meant a lot to me. Plus winning a little extra cash in not the worst thing ever. In the future I plan on entering more competitions and will definitely be making more earrings.
